Sunday, July 14, 2013
John Daly withdrew on Friday at The Greenbrier Classic with an elbow injury. This was his second WD of the year.
Daly took to his twitter account to say, “Surgery on elbow next week out 3-4 months #canthandlepainanymore.”
He played three holes during the second round at Old White TPC and made two bogeys. Daly shot a 5-over 75 in the first round.
Daly is a two-time major champion. He’s made the cut in four of 11 events this season. His best finish was T-50 at the Puerto Rico Open.
