Kenny Perry’s 8 degrees of separation

Kenny Perry, winner of the U.S. Senior Open, has an unusual three-wedge setup, using 8-degree increments among his 48-degree pitching wedge, 56-degree sand wedge and 64-degree lob wedge. How far does he hit his 64-degree wedge? On the ninth hole of the final round, he was 85 yards from the flagstick and hit a full lob wedge shot to 6 feet. His bag included: Adams Speedline Super LS driver (10.5 degree), Adams Super LS 3-wood, TaylorMade RBZ Tour 5-wood (18 degree), Adams Super 9031 hybrid (20 degree), Adams Redline irons (4-PW), TaylorMade ATV wedges (56 and 64 degree) and TaylorMade Ghost Spider Vicino 02 prototype putter.

He played a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
