Looking back on Seve's 1988 Open victory

The 2013 Open Championship at Muirfield will mark 25 years since Seve Ballesteros won his fifth and final major, at the 1988 Open Championship at Royal Lytham and St. Annes.

That year, Ballesteros shot a final-round 6-under 65 to hold off Nick Price, Nick Faldo, Fred Couples and Gary Koch for a two-shot victory. He trailed Price by a shot at the halfway point, but led Price and Faldo by two shots heading into the final round, which for the first time in history was pushed to Monday due to weather.

The video above highlights some of Seve's shots from the third and fourth rounds, including the 9-iron that he stuck to inches to set up a birdie at the 16th hole in the final round (6:40 mark).
