Charl Schwartzel breaks club at Open Championship

Charl Schwartzel will need a new 6-iron before he begins his second round of the Open Championship on Friday.

His old one? Well, it's now in two pieces.

Schwartzel broke the club in anger after his approach shot from the rough at the par-4 15th hole Thursday, throwing the club straight into the ground before it immediately snapped in half on impact. Schwartzel managed to collect himself, playing the final three holes in 1 under to finish with an opening-round 4-over 75.
