Balance: The key to Henrik Stenson’s game at the Open Championship at Muirfield.
“Sometimes I can play quite aggressive, and then you have to learn to be conservative at these events as well,” Stenson said after firing back-to-back 70s in the first and second round of the championship.
Stenson is looking to become the first Swede to win a major championship. He believes he needs to keep playing good golf and stick to his plans, but doesn’t want to get too ahead of himself.
“I’m obviously doing a lot of good stuff so far,” he said, “and it’s all about being in position and half way through, we’re in good position.
“It’s way, way too early to start talking about winning this tournament.”
