Sunday, July 28, 2013
Jack Hall won his third Oglethorpe Invitational July 28 at Wilmington Island Club in Savannah, Ga.
Hall, 56, shot a final-round 4-under 67 to finish at 13-under 200 for a two-shot victory over North Florida junior M.J. Maguire, 20, and incoming Louisville freshman Robert Geibel, 18.
Hall and Geibel were tied after 36 holes and Maguire was one back.
Hall, of Sea Island, Ga., was runner-up here last year to Chase Seiffert and won the title in 2005 and 2010.
Earlier this month, Hall missed the cut by two shots at the U.S. Senior Open. He won the Georgia Four-Ball Championship earlier this year with Savannah’s Danny Nelson.
