Kevin Tway won his first Web.com Tour title in a playoff at the Boise Open.

Kevin Tway won his first Web.com Tour title in a playoff at the Boise Open.

Kevin Tway made a 6-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a playoff to win the Web.com Tour's Boise Open on Sunday, picking up his first title in the process.

Facing off against Spencer Levin in the playoff, Tway said his "hands were shaking a little bit" as he lined up the winning putt.

"It was on the same line I had in regulation and I just wanted to make sure I got it to the hole," said Tway.

Tway fired a 7-under 64 on Sunday to match Levin with a tournament-record 23-under 261. Levin shot a 63 in the final round to force the playoff.

Tway also clinched a spot on the PGA Tour by earning $139,500 for the win, jumping up to sixth on the Tour's money list.

"This means a lot because I've struggled since turning pro," the former Oklahoma State player said. "This really hasn't sunk in yet. I've always wanted to play on the PGA Tour since I was a little kid."
