Tseng signs with IMG for representation

Former World No. 1 Yani Tseng has signed with IMG for management and marketing. Tseng, 24, was under IMG’s wing early in her career, changed management but now is back with the company. IMG will oversee Tseng’s management with a focus on North America and Europe while working in partnership with Nihao and Tseng Yani International, her current management companies, in Asia.

Tseng is a two-time LPGA Player of the Year (2010, ’11), and was LPGA Rookie of the Year in 2008. She owns five major titles.

“Professional golf, but women’s golf especially, is a global game and I have recognized the importance of having representation that reaches all corners of the globe,” said Tseng. “To me, IMG has the history in the business, the resources all around the world, and the leadership position in the industry to help me achieve all that I want to in my career. Working with IMG will allow me to focus on golf knowing that the important management and marketing decisions are taken care of.”

Tseng is No. 5 in the Rolex Rankings.
