Colorado State has hired former Oklahoma State head coach and All-American Annie Young as the Rams' head women's golf coach.

“I am extremely excited to welcome Annie Young to Colorado State to lead our women’s golf program,” Jack Graham, CSU director of athletics, said of the hire. “She is an outstanding coach with a proven championship pedigree, and I am confident that she is the right person to take our program to the next level.”

Young was the head coach for the Cowgirls, her alma mater, from 2008-11. She was the head coach at Cal State Northridge this past season before a stint as a private golf instructor during the 2011-12 season.

“I am excited for the opportunity that Jack has given me to lead the program at Colorado State,” said Young. “Northern Colorado, and Fort Collins in particular, is a great golf destination, and I am really looking forward to making my mark on the program.”
