Arkansas, Kent St. share top spot at General Hackler

Final Scores: General Hackler

With no time for a playoff, Arkansas and Kent State posted totals of 9-over 873 to share top honors Tuesday at the General Hackler Championship at TPC of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, S.C.

Arkansas started the final-round with two-shot lead over Kent State, but Golden Flashes recorded the second lowest team score of the day, 1-over 289, for the tie.

Tennessee finished in third with a 16-over 880. In fourth was host Coastal Carolina in fourth at 892. East Tennessee State finished in fifth at 898.

Also tied were the top two individuals, Tennessee's Oliver Goss and Kent State's Taylor Pendrith, each finishing at 1-under 215. This is Goss and Pendrith's first wins of the season.

Kent State's Corey Conners finished a shot behind the co-medalists with Teneessee's Jay Vandeventer another shot back. In a tie for first was Coastal Carolina's Sebastian Sodeberg and two Arkansas golfers, Sebastian Cappelen and Thomas Sorensen at 2-over 218.
