Spieth joins PGA Tour as special temporary member
Jordan Spieth has officially joined the PGA Tour as a special temporary member for the remainder of the 2013 season.
In last week's Tampa Bay Championship, Spieth earned $148,893 for a total of $521,893 in four starts this season. This total surpasses the total earnings of the player that finished No. 150 on the 2012 money list, which was $474,295.
This makes Spieth eligible for unlimited sponsor exemptions in an attempt to earn his 2013-14 Tour card through the non-member money list or non-member FedEx Cup points list.
With his top-10 finish at the Tampa Bay Championship, he is exempt into next week's Shell Houston Open.
