Barry beat Nova Southeastern by two shots in a tiebreaker Thursday to advance to the match-play final of the NCAA Division II Men's Championship in Hershey, Pa.

Barry will play for the national title Friday against Lynn, which defeated Western Washington in the other semifinal.

The third-seeded Buccaneers and defending champion Shark were all square at 2-2-1 at the conclusion of their semifinal match.

Nova took the early lead after Mitch Farrer downed Scott Smyers and Hunter O'Mahoney defeated Marcus Segerstrom. But Barry battled back to tie the match with victories from Jared Dalga and Ada Svensson, as well as a halve from Simon Forsslund, who tied Nova's Ian Facey despite trailing by five shots on the back nine.
