"I am honored to be leading the Michigan women's golf team, and want to thank Athletic Director David Brandon for this tremendous opportunity," said Dowling. "Michigan is world renowned for both academics and athletics, which makes the potential for this program endless. Further, I was extremely impressed with the first class golf facilities and commitment to the program on every level possible. The future of the program is very bright and I am very excited to lead this team to new heights."
In 2012-13, Dowling served as an assistant coach at Tennessee. Prior to the joining Tennessee, Dowling was the head coach at Florida. She also spent time at Duke and Kent State.
