Take a look at some fashion from the third round of the Turkish Airlines Open in Antalya, Turkey at Montgomerie Maxx Royal.
Alex Noren was forced to withdraw from the Turkish Airlines Open during the third round with an ongoing wrist injury. By withdrawing, this also rules him out of the Race to Dubai’s finale next week.
He originally injured his wrist at The Open Championship at Muirfield and it has continued to bother him throughout the rest of the season.
After withdrawing, Noren left the course Saturday morning and was going back home to Sweden to see a specialist. According to a European Tour Official, it is possible Noren will not be back until March.
The Swedish native shot rounds of 73-70 in the first and second round at Montgomerie Maxx Royal. Before withdrawing, he went double bogey-bogey-bogey (starting on No. 10).
Noren is currently ranked No. 84 in the Official World Golf Rankings. He had no wins during the 2013 season, but has three European Tour victories throughout his career.
