Seminole GC to host 2021 Walker Cup

Team USA has a little fun with the trophy after defeating GB&I 17-9 at the 2013 Walker Cup in Southampton, N.Y.

Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Fla., will set host to the 2021 Walker Cup, according to a report on the Golf Digest website. The golf club will host its first competition open to the public since its inception in 1929.

This Donald Ross designed course plays 6,836 yards from the tips and is located next to the Atlantic Ocean.

Also in the report, it says Seminole has contracted Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore as its design consultants.

The 2015 Walker Cup will be held at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England. The 2017 Match will be played on the West Coast of the United States at The Los Angeles Country Club. In 2019, the Walker Cup will be played at Royal Liverpool in Hoylake, England.
