NGA Tour partners with Great Lakes Tour

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The NGA Tour has reached an agreement with the Great Lakes Tour that organizers say will give players on both circuits more opportunities to compete.

The NGA Tour said the Ontario-based tour would be rebranded as the NGA Great Lakes Tour and would be sanctioned by the National Golf Association starting in 2014.

Top points leaders from the NGA Great Lakes Tour, comprised of pro events throughout Ontario, Canada, can receive complimentary membership and full-exempt status onto the NGA Tour's main Pro Series.

The Pro Series is made up of 18 to 21 events running from February until September at courses throughout the Southeast.
