Brown moves to lead at Pebble Beach
Friday, November 22, 2013
With six birdies, Scott Brown's 68 at Spyglass Hill moved him to 10 under as he took the second-round lead at the Pebble Beach Invitational by a shot over Jason Kokrak.
"It was just a good-vibe day," Brown said. "I am really not doing anything differently. I just feel a lot more comfortable out there then I did a few years ago. Not doing anything too crazy is good."
Kokrak, who played Del Monte on Friday, also had six birdies. First-round leader Morgan Hoffmann was another shot back in third after a 71 at Pebble Beach.
John Cook and Kirk Triplett are the low scorers from the Champions Tour, five off the lead.
Annika Sorenstam shot 71 Friday and is seven back of Brown.
