Antiguaannounced its Spring 2014 women’s golf collection on Wednesday.
"The Spring 2014 Performance Collection promises to be the best selling in our history," said Ron McPherson, president and CEO of Antigua. "The collection has color, style, sophisticated fabrics and a perfect mix of silhouettes. Our early bookings are off the charts."
The collection has bold stripes, lightweight fabrics and unique textures. According to Antigua, it’s all about sheer comfort as these clothes allow for a softer, smoother and more comfortable fabric.
There are multiple kinds of polos. Primp has new fabric innovations says Antigua Women’s Head Designer Danielle Dellios. Another style, Pristine, has an open scoop neck line with contrast V-stitching. Multiple polos have non-traditional necklines.
Most polos have neon, eye-popping colors. The colors consist of Citrine, Candy, Sherbet and Grapeade.
Desert Dry and Desert Dry XTRA-LITE are the new technology featured in this women’s collection. The Desert Dry absorbs moisture quickly and evenly keeping golfers comfortable and dry, says Antigua. Two fabrics, Gem and Breathe, are used in the Desert Dry technology.
The Desert Dry XTRA-LITE features ultra-light fabrics for maximum wicking performance and optimum comfort. Fabrics include, Frill, Caliber and Cinch. Frill is a woven jacket, Caliber are polos, while Cinch is a knit skort.
