Cochran leads SAS Championship by 2

Russ Cochran shot his second straight 6-under 66 on Saturday for a two-stroke lead at the SAS Championship.
Cochran, 54, made birdies on five of his first six holes before bogeying the par-5 seventh at Prestonwood CC in Cary, N.C. He also added birdies on Nos. 15 and 17 during the second round of play.
"They were going in from everywhere," Cochran said about his fast start. "It just felt comfortable and felt easy.
Defending champion Bernhard Langer, Kirk Triplett and David Frost are tied for second at 10-under 134. Each player shot 67-67 in the first- and second-rounds.
Another shot back is Michael Allen at 9 under after a second-round 4-under 68.
