Video: Golf stereotypes
Thursday, September 5, 2013
Chances are all of us have experienced a few of these firsthand.
Yes, I'm talking about golf stereotypes.
You know, the guy who is mighty generous in keeping his score, the guy who throws more clubs than he hits and, of course, the guy who always seems to find his ball – although we all know he just dropped one out of his pocket. There are many more, almost too many to count, but this YouTube video does a great job in highlighting the most popular ones.
Here are some that apply to me:
• The sand-trapped guy: While I don't like to admit it, I've taken more than a few shots to get out of a bunker before.
• The ball hunter: Because who doesn't love adding balls to your shag bag?
• The old guy: OK, so I'm not an old man, but I do play with at least one every time I hit the course.
Which of these golf stereotypes have you witnessed? Which ones apply to you?
