Thomas Bjorn and Stephen Gallacher moved to the top of the Omega European Masters leaderboard with a 66 and 65, respectively, in Friday's second round, good for a one-shot lead over Miguel Angel Jimenez and four others.
Gallacher again took advantage of the front nine at Crans sur Sierre in Switzerland, with a 32 keying his round. He's 9 under on that nine in two rounds. Bjorn, who won this tournament in 2011, toured both nines in 33 for his second straight 66 to match Gallacher at 10 under.
Brooks Koepka, the top American in the field, shot 66 to better his first round by two shots and rise to T-8 at 8 under alongside first-round leader Anirban Lahiri and three others.
Jimenez, who won this event in 2010, overcame two bogeys and a double bogey by birdieing five of six holes on Nos. 12-17. He's tied with Victor Dubuisson, Richard Finch, Tommy Fleetwood and Danny Willet.
Ye Wo-cheng, the 13-year-old amateur from China, shot 76 on the heels of a first-round 78 and missed the cut. He performed three strokes better than when he missed the cut at the European Tour's China Open.
