Georgia Tech 2-for-2 after 20-shot victory
Georgia Tech players swept the top four individual spots, leading the Yellow Jackets to an easy victory Sunday at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate and making them 2-for-2 on the young season.
The Yellow Jackets, No. 4 in Golfweek's preseason rankings, finished at 22-under 842 to defeat runner-up North Carolina State by 20 shots at UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C., a successful follow-up to Tech's season-opening victory at last weekend's Carpet Capital Collegiate.
Medalist Seth Reeves shot rounds of 69-69-70 for an 8-under 208 total and was followed by teammates Richy Werenski (212) and Ollie Schniederjans (213). Tech's Anders Albertson tied for fourth at 2-under 214 with North Carolina's Brandon Dalinka and Duke's Max Greyserman.
Schniederjans, who shared medalist honors at the Carpet Capital, and Werenski each posted their second consecutive top 5s.
