By The Numbers: Kennesaw State, 4
Thursday, September 26, 2013
Four was the number for Kennesaw State as it placed four players in the top 20 and overcame a four-shot deficit to win at the Rees Jones Invitational on Sept. 24.
Austin Vick led the way for Kennesaw State, which won the team title by two shots over South Florida and South Carolina, shooting 2-over 218 and tying for fourth place. Jimmy Beck (T-6), Kelby Burton (T-19) and Chris Guglielmo (T-19) also finished in the top 20 individually.
More importantly than any numbers, though, Owls head coach Jay Moseley said of the victory: "This, undoubtedly, is the biggest win in our program's history."
