Alabama is back to its winning ways.

The Crimson Tide surged on the final day of the Mason Rudolph Championship, shooting a 12-under 272 en route to a nine-stroke victory in Nashville, Tenn. The team, which sits at No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, finished at five-under 847 at the par-71, 7,100-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club, surpassing host Vanderbilt on the final day.

Three golfers finished in the top 10 for Alabama – freshman Robby Shelton tied for fifth at 1 under, sophomore Tom Lovelady finished eighth at even par and senior Bobby Wyatt tied for ninth at 1 over. All three of those players shot a round in the 60s on the final day, leading the team to its sixth win of the season.

No. 12 Vanderbilt (4 over), No. 35 Mercer (13 over), Louisville (13 over) and Georgia Southern (16 over) rounded out the top five.

Florida State freshman Jack Maguire shot two straight rounds of 66 to pull away with medalist honors. Maguire, who has won twice this season, beat out the runners-up by seven strokes, finishing at 10 under. He amassed 18 birdies throughout the tournament.

But Maguire was not given much support by his teammates. The medalist was the only Seminole to finish in the top 40 of the tournament individually. Florida State finished eighth as a team.
