Oklahoma leads race at Wyoming Cowboy Classic

The Oklahoma Sooners lead the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Talking Stick’s North Course.
No. 11 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, the Sooners shot 5-under 275 in the first-round and a 5-over 285 in the second round for an even par total in Scottsdale, Ariz.
BYU and Colorado are tied for second, one-shot back of Oklahoma on the par-70 7,133-yard course. Utah is in fourth at 2 over, and Gonzaga is in fifth at 5-over 565.
Gonzaga’s Sean Walsh shot 68-65 on Monday to take a two-shot lead on the individual leaderboard. Walsh, a junior from Keller, Texas, is at 7-under 133.
UC Davis’ Josh Granger is in second at 5 under with rounds of 68-67. In a tie for third are UC Irvine’s Pete Fernandez and Oklahoma’s Michael Gellerman at 4 under.
