Vanderbilt built a six-stroke lead Saturday at the Southeastern Conference Championship. The Commodores, the only team to finish under par on the day, shot a 1-under 287 at the Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham, Ala.

Vanderbilt, the No. 14 team in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, leads No. 5 Arkansas by six strokes through 36 holes at the par-72, 6,050-yard course. It sits at 9 over with 18 holes remaining in the event. No. 16 LSU, which sits seven strokes back at 15 over, is in third. No. 24 Auburn (18 over) and No. 11 Alabama (19 over) round out the top five.

Simin Feng and Jenny Hahn lead Vanderbilt at 1-under 143. The pair is tied for first with Alabama's Janie Jackson.

Feng shot a 2-under 70 on Saturday, after firing off five birdies in her round, which was the low for the day.
