Florida State takes ACC lead over Georgia Tech

Hank Lebioda's 4-under 68 helped Florida State gain the edge through the first 18 holes of the ACC Men's Golf Championship.

Lebioda, who is in second place at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C., fired five birdies to help Florida State shoot a 4-under 284 as a team. Cristobal Del Solar, who shot a 1-under 71, is also in the top 10 for the Seminoles.

Georgia Tech, the No. 2 team in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, is in second at even par. Ollie Schniederjans, the No. 4 player in Golfweek's rankings, led the Yellow Jackets with a 7-under 65. Schniederjans made eight birdies in the first 18 holes, taking first place among individuals.

Clemson is in third at 1-over 289 and Wake Forest is in fourth at 290 Boston College and North Carolina are tied for fifth at 291.
