The Texas Longhorns were the only team to remain under par through 36 holes Friday at the Big 12 Men's Championship.

The Longhorns, the No. 18 team in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, shot a 4-under 572, jumping out in front of No. 39 Texas Tech by five strokes at the Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas.

Longhorns Beau Hossler, Kramer Hickok and Toni Hakula are tied for second with a 3-under 141. All five of Texas' individuals are in the top 20.

The two Texas teams are in front by a large margin, with Iowa State and TCU sitting in third at 16 over and No. 15 Oklahoma rounding out the top five at 17 over. Oklahoma State, the No. 4 team in the country, is in sixth at 18 over.

Oklahoma State's No. 1 golfer and Golfweek's No. 7-ranked player Wyndham Clark struggled Friday, making bogey or worse on 12 of his 36 holes and finishing the day with an 8-over 80.
