FootJoy introduces new D.N.A. category for women

FootJoy's new D.N.A. footwear category for women.

FootJoy has announced the next generation of footwear for women – the D.N.A. (DryJoys Next Advancement).

“To create the FJ D.N.A. golf shoe for female golfer’s, we began with all of the components and materials that made the men’s shoe such a success and redefined them to better support the distint fit, comfort and performance characteristics required in the women’s game,” said Doug Robinson, Vice President of Design and Development Worldwide.

• The men's D.N.A. was introduced in January of 2014. Click here for more.

The key features: The 3D FoamCoallar for comfort – it keeps the ankle in place to eliminate movement of the foot, which can lead to discomfort and power-reduce throughout the swing. The SnugFit Tongue for fit. The NitroThin TPU Outsole for stability – it delivers a combination of stiffness and flexibility for on-course performance. The Xtra-Thick FTF FitBed is for cushioning as the midsole was moved to the inside of the shoe. The cushioning material used through the midsole is known as the FitBed. It is firmer stability around the outside of the shoe and softer in the heel for comfort. The ChromoSkin Leather System by Pittards is supple, lightweight and waterproof leather system from England.
