UCLA rising junior Jonathan Garrick continues to co-lead at the Canadian Amateur in Winnipeg, Canada, after the second round Tuesday at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club and Southwood Golf and Country Club.
Garrick, along with fellow American Sam Saunders, a redshirt senior at New Mexico, sit in a tie for first at 8-under 134. Garrick shot rounds of 66-68 and Saunders fired consecutive rounds of 67.
There is a three-way tie for third, two shots back at 6 under: Recent Kent State graduate Corey Conners, rising Houston junior Blair Hamilton and Bret Thompson – all of Canada.
