Tracker: Lincicome keeps lead at Wegmans LPGA

Brittany Lincicome is the 36-hole leader by three shots at the 2014 Wegmans LPGA Championship.

Brittany Lincicome kept her lead at the Wegmans LPGA Championship, but she did see her advantage shrink from three shots to just one Saturday at Monroe Golf Club.

The two players a shot back at 9 under are pretty good, too – Suzann Pettersen and Inbee Park. Not to mention, World No. 2 Lydia Ko is just four shots back.

Here's how it all unfolded during Saturday's third round in Pittsford, N.Y.:

Update No. 16: 6:32 p.m. ET

Lydia Ko birdies the par-4 17th to get to 6 under, four shots back of leader Brittany Lincicome, who just got up and down from a bunker to save par at the par-3 16th and remain at 10 under.

Also, Lexi Thompson has dropped to 4 under. She's 2 over through 16 holes today.

Update No. 15: 6:17 p.m. ET

Inbee Park bogeys the par-4 15th to drop back to 8 under. Before that bogey, Park was one of two players today without a bogey – Gerina Piller shot a bogey-free 3-under 69 today.

Update No. 14: 6:05 p.m. ET

Brittany Lincicome and Inbee Park each birdie the par-5 14th, Lincicome retaking the solo lead at 10 under and Park moving into a share of second with Suzann Pettersen at 9 under.

A Brittany Lincicome bogey at the par-3 13th opens the door for Suzann Pettersen, who birdies the par-4 15th to tie Lincicome for the lead at 9 under.

Suzann Pettersen burns the right edge of the hole with her eagle putt at the par-5 14th. That eagle would've given her a share of the lead, but instead she settles for birdie and moves to 8 under.

Lydia Ko is back to within four shots of the lead as she makes an 8-footer for birdie at the 12th to get back to 5 under overall and even par for her round.

Brittany Lincicome is short of the green in two at the par-4 10th, and she fails to get up and down for par. She drops to 9 under, a shot ahead of Inbee Park, who had a nice two-putt par at the 10th.

Suzann Pettersen starts her back nine with back-to-back birdies to get to 7 under. She's now three shots back of Brittany Lincicome, who just birdie the par-5 ninth to reach 10 under.

Lincicome was just short of the ninth green in two shots, and was able to get up and down for birdie. Lincicome is now 9 under on the par 5s so far in this tournament. Inbee Park couldn't birdie the ninth and she remains at 8 under.

Update No. 8: 4:47 p.m. ET

Like Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson makes the turn at 1 over on her round. Thompson went for the green in two at the par-5 ninth, but missed left in the thick rough. Her pitch went through the green, but she managed to then get up and down for par to remain at 5 under overall.

Lydia Ko makes the turn at 4 under, 1 over on her round today. She's five shots back now.

Also, Inbee Park birdies the par-3 eighth while Brittany Lincicome makes par, and Park is 8 under, one shot back of Lincicome.

Brittany Lincicome sticks her approach to about 2 feet at the par-4 seventh and makes the short birdie putt to move back to 9 under.

The lead is now just one shot now, after Inbee Park birdies the par-4 fourth to move to 7 under and Brittany Lincicome three-putts for bogey a hole later at the par-4 fifth.

Meena Lee is also 7 under, a shot back of Lincicome.

Wie sidelined 3-5 weeks with finger injury

Michelle Wie will miss three to five weeks of competition due to a stress reaction in the bone of her right index finger, according to a release from IMG. Wie, the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open champion, WD'd earlier this week after nine holes of the LPGA’s brand-new event, the Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythefield Country Club in Grand Rapids, Mich. After WD’ing, she saw Dr. Tom Graham at the Cleveland Clinic, who told her about her finger.

Junior PGA winners to receive PGA Tour, LPGA exemptions

For the first time, the winners of the Junior PGA Championship will earn PGA Tour and LPGA exemptions, the PGA of America announced Tuesday. The boys' champion this week at Miramont County Club will receive an invite to the 2015 Valero Texas Open on March 26-29 at TPC San Antonio. The girls' champion will be invited to play in the 2015 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic on April 24-27 at Lake Merced Golf Club near San Francisco.
