Web.com: Ortiz wins; Tour card winners set

It wasn't as pretty as his first or second round, but Carlos Ortiz's final-round 71 gave him a third Web.com Tour title of the season and a ticket to the PGA Tour in 2015.
Ortiz balanced three birdies with three bogeys for his even-par 71, but it was rounds of 66 and 63 Thursday and Friday that propelled him to finish at 14 under and take the win at the WinCo Foods Portland Open. He fended off a charge from Jason Gore, whose 5-under 66 put him in a tie for second with Adam Hadwin. Gore went 4 under on the back nine, including birdies on Nos. 17-18, but came up one stroke short of tying Ortiz at the top.
But the big winners were the top 25 money earners on the tour this season. The group earned their PGA Tour cards for 2015. The list remained relatively stable, with the exception of Sebastian Cappelen, who was bumped off the list after missing the cut. Cappelen, who recently joined the tour after after a stellar career at Arkansas, shot a second-day 78 to follow his first-round of 68.
Kyle Reifers earned Cappelen's spot at 25 after finishing at T-21 and 7 under for the tournament.
