Texas A&M

Preseason rank: 19

Final 2013-14 Golfweek/Sagarin ranking: 27

2013-14 in review: The addition of Marijosse Navarro gave Texas A&M a big boost in the spring semester, but the team’s strong senior core was the story of the year. With three seniors in the lineup, Texas A&M recorded a T-10 at the national championship to put a fitting end to the season.

Notable departure: Katerina Ruzickova, Natalie Reeves, Janell Lysack, Chelsea Mocio

Key returnees: Marijosse Navarro, Bianca Fabrizio, Andrea Jonama

Newcomers of note: Maddie Szeryk, Ashley Malinchak

Fall outlook: It’s a rebuilding year in College Station, Texas, but the Aggies have a lot of promise. Navarro, who graduated early to join the team last spring, returns from a sixth-place individual finish at the NCAA Championship and a runner-up finish at the U.S. Girls’ Junior. Szeryk is the top-ranked player in Golfweek's junior rankings for the class of 2014, and Malinchak is No. 17. In addition to the youngsters, A&M returns sophomore Fabrizio and Jonama. There are several options on this roster for a solid fivesome, and room for some inner-team competition.
