I.K. Kim retains lead at Portland Classic

I.K. Kim leads by three at the LPGA's Portland Classic.

I.K. Kim retained the lead at the LPGA's Portland Classic on Friday with a second-round 5-under 67.

Kim, of South Korea, made seven birdies and two bogeys on the day after hitting 11 of 14 fairways in Round 2 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland, Ore.

She is looking for her first victory of the season. Her best finish thus far was T-13 at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic.

Kim holds a three-shot lead over Mi Jung Hur (65), Carlota Ciganda (65) and Laura Diaz (68).

Defending champion Suzann Pettersen followed her opening 71 with a 5-under 67. She is currently T-10, six shots back of Kim.
