Tennessee begins its title defense Monday at the Sea Best Invitational.

The Vols, ranked 46th in the Golfweek/Sagarin men's team rankings, set four tournament records a year ago in holding off Texas A&M, which finished runner-up. But the Aggies are one of 15 other teams that will try and prevent Tennessee from adding another title this week at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Ranked fifth in the country, Texas A&M posted three top 5s in four fall events and are led by Golfweek's fourth-ranked individual, Ben Crancer. Andrew Lister and Jade Scott are the other two Aggies ranked inside the top 50.

Tennessee's Oliver Goss, last year's U.S. Amateur runner-up, made his first collegiate start at this event a year ago, finishing T-16.

Other top 100-ranked teams in the field include No. 36 Liberty, No. 48 East Tennessee State, No. 55 Winthrop, No. 77 Florida, No. 79 North Florida, No. 81 East Carolina and No. 89 Florida Gulf Coast. Cal Poly, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Old Dominion, Pepperdine and South Carolina Upstate are also competing.
