Seventeen top-100 teams head to Orlando, Fla. for the UCF Challenge Sunday through Tuesday.
UCF hosts the 19-team tournament, which is held at the par-73 Eagle Creek Golf Course. The Knights are ranked the No. 23 team in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.
"Hosting is always a fun week for the team," head coach Emily Marron said in a release. "Eagle Creek is a new home course for us, but the team has had the chance to play it a lot this year and we feel comfortable there. We are coming off of a great win at the Florida Challenge and feel we can use that confidence and momentum to our advantage this weekend."
The field includes seven top-50 teams, including Kentucky (No. 17) and Iowa State (No. 19). The remainder of the field includes: Campbell (No. 59), East Carolina (No. 47), East Tennessee St. (No. 54), Florida International (No. 69), Georgia State (No. 58), GRU Augusta (No. 49), Kennesaw State (No. 105), Miami (No. 37), Minnesota (No. 61), New, Mexico (No. 63), SMU (No. 45), South Florida (No. 122), Texas State (No. 55), Tulane (No. 30), Western Carolina (No. 92) and Wisconsin (No. 38).
