Jimmy Walker moved inside the top 25 of the Official World Golf Ranking following his victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
It's an improvement of eight spots for Walker, whose victory at Pebble Beach was his third win of the 2013-14 PGA Tour season and third in his past eight starts. He started 2013 outside the top 100 and was ranked 63rd before the first of his three victories, at the Frys.com Open.
Also moving up the rankings after a strong showing at Pebble Beach is Dustin Johnson, whose T-2 finish moved him from 16th to 11th in the world. The other player who tied for second, Jim Renner, rose from No. 561 to No. 262.
Jordan Spieth is up three spots to 13th after a T-4 finish at Pebble Beach while Kevin Na, who also shared fourth, is now 161st, 49 spots better than the previous week.
On the European Tour, George Coetzee won the Joburg Open to rise from 72nd to 59th and earn himself a spot in the WGC-Accenture Match Play.
The top 10 saw a little bit of shuffling as Rory McIlroy and Zach Johnson traded spots, McIlroy moving to sixth and Johnson falling to seventh. Also, Sergio Garcia rose to eighth while Matt Kuchar dropped to ninth.
