Ghim, Yuan share lead at CB&I Boys Championship

Doug Ghim and Carl Yuan fired rounds of 68 in the second round of the CB&I Boys Championship at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. The identical round put the golfers in a tie for first heading into the final round of the event.

Ghim, who is heading to Texas in the fall, and Yuan, a class of 2015 golfer, are both 6-under for the tournament.

Andy Zhang (3-under), Aaron Terrazas – the first round leader – (3-under) and Sam Burns (2-under) round out the top five.

Ghim birdied his first three holes of the day and has yet to record a bogey in the tournament. Yuan made birdie six times Sunday, but bogeyed two holes on the front nine.

Among other notables in the tournament are Davis Riley (T-7), Brad Dalke – the defending championing – (T-12), Cameron Champ (T-17), Adam Wood (T-29) and George Cunningham (T-49).
