Stanford increases lead to 14 shots at The Prestige

Junior Patrick Rodgers, freshman Maverick McNealy and senior Cameron Wilson are all in the top-five of The Prestige at PGA West to lead the Stanford Cardinal to the top of the leaderboard.

A second-round 4-under 280 at the Greg Norman course at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., gave the Cardinal a 14-shot lead over Washington. The Cardinal is at 19-under 549. The Huskies shot a 7-under 277 and sits at 5 under total. Oregon (2 under), LSU (1 under) and San Diego State (even par) round out the top-five.

Rodgers leads on the individual leaderboard after a 3-under 68 in the second-round. His 9-under 133 total is four shots better than teammate McNealy and San Diego State’s Ricky DeSantis.
