After finishing in the top 10 at the Northern Trust Open, Jason Allred earned a spot in this week's Honda Classic that he said might conflict with a baby on the way.

A member of Allred's management team broke the news Monday that it's a girl! Said Tommy Limbaugh, CEO of 4U Management, via Twitter account @tommylimbaugh: "Congratulations to Jason and Kimberly Allred on the arrival of their baby girl about 30 minutes ago. Good timing for Dad & @TheHondaClassic"

Naturally, it's too soon to tell if Allred will certainly make the Honda. But with he and wife Kimberly having welcomed their third child, a decision could come soon.

"You know, I'm far from perfect as a husband and dad, but I try to make my family my priority all the time," Allred had said for a Feb. 18 story. "I can't wait to talk to my wife and we'll have fun figuring out what that looks like. I don't think I'd miss my child being born for anything but you know, who knows, maybe we can do both, we'll see."

And if it turns out to be just too soon to partake in the Honda Classic?

“We can afford some diapers, thankfully," he had said.
