Memphis notched its first victory of the season, capturing the USA Women's Invitational Tuesday at Azalea City Golf Course in Mobile, Ala.

The Tigers finished at 41-over 905, two shots clear of runner-up Jacksonville State and four shots in front of third-place South Alabama.

Memphis freshman Leighann Cabush took medalist honors, her first collegiate individual title. Cabush carded a 4-over 220 to win by two shots over Jacksonville State's Anne Kathrin Albrecht.

The Tigers' next tournament is the Lady Eagle Invitational on March 10-11 in Hattiesburg, Miss. Memphis is the defending champion of the event.
