The Ohio State women's golf team surged on the final day of the Westbrook Spring Invitational to top Oregon. The team's final score – 26-under 838 – is a school record.

The Buckeyes were six strokes under the next best team on the final day at the par-72, 6,269-yard Westbrook Village Golf Club Vistas Course in Peoria, Ariz.

The win was the first for Ohio State since 2012.

Ohio State freshman Jessica Porvasnik won medalist honors by four strokes – the first victory in her collegiate career. Porvasnik set a tournament record with her 13-under total. She kicked the tournament off with a 7-under 65, highlighted by a hole-in-one on the 163-yard hole No. 2.

Oregon (16-under), Wisconsin (5-under), College of Charleston (5-over) and Nebraska (5-over) rounded out the top five.
