Woods surpasses $1.3 billion in career earnings

Tiger Woods has now earned more than $1.3 billion in his career, according to a report in the February issue of Golf Digest.
Woods earned $12 million on the course in 2013 to go along with the $71 million he made off the course last year. In total, Woods earned $83 million – Phil Mickelson was the next highest earner at $52 million.
The report estimated that 88 percent of Woods' career earnings has come from endorsements.
Arnold Palmer ($40 million), Jack Nicklaus ($26 million) and Henrik Stenson ($21.8 million) were Nos. 3-5 on the list, respectively, while Rory McIlroy ($20.6 million) was sixth.
