Ko officially signs with Callaway Golf
Earlier this month, it was reported that Lydia Ko was on the verge of signing with Callaway Golf.
Monday, the signing became official as Callaway announced on its website that it had added the 16-year-old New Zealand golfer to its stable of players.
The phenom also got the word out via her Twitter account, @Lko424: "Proud to be part of #TeamCallaway @CallawayGolf pic.twitter.com/WB5E8MsvYG"
Ko, No. 4 in the Rolex Rankings, will make her debut as an LPGA member at next week's Pure Silk Bahamas Classic. She joins a list of Callaway pros on the LPGA that includes Sandra Gal, Morgan Pressel and Yani Tseng.
