CONGRATULATIONS to the 2014 Father & Son Champions: Ralph and Chet Ghioto

WRAP UP: Central Florida's Streamsong Resort proved to be a challenging and memorable experience for the field in this year’s Golfweek Father and Son Open.

First-time players Ralph and Chet Ghioto took the title by firing rounds of 67-70—137, five shots clear of the field. The victory came after a Saturday delayed by rain and lightning before a picture-perfect day for Sunday’s final round.

During Saturday’s delay, all players gathered at Streamsong’s banquet hall for lunch and to honor Craig Dolch, the 2014 Golfweek Father of the Year. Dolch delivered an inspiring acceptance to the delight of everyone present and received two standing ovations.

Other winners included Charles and Michael Kovaleski (First flight), Michael and Daniel Alldredge (Second flight), Mark and Ryan Griege (Third flight), Leonard and Sam Olson (Fourth flight) and Steve and Jon Fain (Fifth flight).
