WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – The Old White TPC may be a welcoming sight for Ted Potter Jr.
The 2012 champion, who has no top 10s and has made just eight cuts in 21 PGA Tour events this season, is the all-time leading money winner in this event’s four-year history. Potter has won $1,309,050 in two starts here.
In his eight starts at Old White TPC, he has broken par in each round and holds the mark for low scoring average, at 66.88.
The four winners of the Greenbrier Classic - Stuart Appleby (2010), Scott Stallings (2011), Potter (2012) and Jonas Blixt (2013) - hold the top four spots on this tournament’s earnings list. If you are looking for some players who have not won but who may play well this week, consider Jimmy Walker, Jeff Overton and Brendon de Jonge.
Walker has three top-4 finishes in four starts here. Overton and de Jonge have made the cut in all four starts.
