Jason Dufner will honor former Auburn football player Philip Lutzenkirchen starting next week at the Open Championship.
Dufner, who attended Auburn, posted a photo Wednesday on Twitter that showed a new orange patch with a blue No. 43 on his bag. The number was worn by Lutzenkirchen, the 23-year-old former Tiger tight end who died June 29 in a single-car accident in Georgia.
