Ko's Sunday 65 takes LPGA's Marathon Classic

With a birdie at the 18th, her sixth of the day, Lydia Ko fired a 65 to win by a shot over So Yeon Ryu on Sunday at the LPGA's Marathon Classic.
"I knew I needed to make birdie," Ko said of the final hole. She was bogey-free en route to her second win this season.
Cristie Kerr shot 67 to finish third at 12 under.
Laura Diaz, who led the first two rounds and shared the third-round lead with Lee-Anne Pace, was 2 over on the front nine and fell from contention; as did Pace, who was 1 over at the turn.
World No. 1 Stacy Lewis closed with a 1-under 70 to finish T-24. Women's British Open champion Mo Martin closed with a 2-under 69 to finish T-6.
