BRYAN, Texas – Inclement weather prevented the completion of Thursday’s third round of the Junior PGA Championship.

While the girls were able to complete 54 holes at Miramont Country Club, the lead boys group was on the 12th hole when play was halted around 5:30 p.m. CDT because of severe thunderstorms and heavy rain.

Second-round leader Gordon Neale of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., leads by two shots at 8 under. Neale is 2 under through 11 holes in his third round.

Sam Burns of Shreveport, La., is also 2 under through 11 holes and sits in second at 6 under. Brad Dalke of Hobart, Okla., the third player in the final group, is 3 under, even for his third round.

Play will resume at 8 a.m. Friday with the completion of the boys' third round and the start of the girls' final round. The boys' final round is scheduled to begin at 11:20 a.m.
