Northwestern squeaked out a victory on Wednesday at the Hurricane Invitaitonal at the Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, Fla. The Wildcats were lead by junior Hana Lee (T-5) and freshman Kacie Komoto (T-7) at the 18-team tournament.

Iowa State finished one-shot back of 20th-ranked Northwestern when they finished with a three-day total of 13-over 865. Miami finished in third with a 22 over total. In fourth place were the Campbell Fighting Camels at 25 over and Kennesaw State rounded out the top five at 26 over.

Miami’s Daniela Darquea and Iowa State’s Sasikarn On-Iam tied for medalist honors at the par-71 6,092-yard course. Both players shot 2-under 211. Middle Tennessee’s Avery George finished in third with a 1-under 212 total.
